There’s a line in the movie “The Usual Suspects” – “The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.” I don’t believe in an actual devil, but I do strongly believe that this is an excellent description of systemic racism in the US. We’ll be inviting reflection on risk and vulnerability in doing anti-racism/anti-oppression work and my hopes for UUYO this coming year.
