In the wake of mass protests across the globe for racial justice, many Unitarian Universalist congregations are considering the adoption of an 8th: “journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppression in ourselves and our institutions.” How will the adoption of this principle or the lack thereof impact our church, and the wider community?
