In an age of mass incarceration that continues to impact citizens in Youngstown and across the nation, the future of our justice system may rest in one simple action: hearing the stories of those impacted by incarceration and helping them return home. We all yearn to return home in some sense, whether we have been incarcerated or not. Dionne Dowdy, Executive Director of United Returning Citizens, will share stories of resilience among our returning citizens, and point us toward a more accurate picture of  home.
