On October 27, 2018, while Shabbat services were being held, 11 people were killed and 7 injured during a mass shooting at Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. On the one-year anniversary of this tragedy, we will affirm our commitment to be in solidarity with our Jewish neighbors, and all those who are threatened with violence and hatred. In honor of this relationship, Rodef Sholom has invited us to worship inside their synagogue to show the world that love is indeed stronger than hate.
Rabbi Frank Muller and Rev. Joseph Boyd will both offer reflections on the power of this commitment at this time.
Please join us at 11 am for this special service held at Rodef Sholom.
