At least as successful as our last two pledge drives  ???

Pledges of financial support to UUYO are critical to our existence. Each fall we have a pledge drive to gather financial commitments for the next year. The last two years have been the most successful in UUYO’s history. Go us!

Pledges enable UUYO to:

• create a budget
• assure our minister and part-time staff of consistent paychecks
• pay for building upkeep, utility bills, denominational support, and all the many, many things it takes to run a vibrant church

Our goal for the Pledge it Forward drive is $140,000. A bargain! It is what it costs to run this remarkable place. The goal is the same it has been for the last 2 years. But each of those years, we have fallen short.

Let’s use our 2020 vision to ensure a successful drive this year.

You are being asked to attend one of several coffee-hour pledge sessions in Channing Hall. You will sit with new friends and old and take part in an enjoyable, structured and guided step-by-step pledging process. We are going to have fun! Everyone has something to give. Yes. That means you!

Sign-ups will be posted on October 13th, and members of the Stewardship Task Force will be stationed at the exit doors to talk with anyone who forgets to sign up…. See Lisbet White if you would like to help out on the team.
