Children and Youth
Religious Exploration Programming
Beginning in November 2024, We will be exploring together using the Hogwarts curriculum.
Hogwartz Academy Year One
Many “pop culture” stories offer far more than mere fantasy. As “modern mythology,” these stories of substance have the ability to speak to a modern audience in ways that more traditional sources cannot.
Students do not need to be familiar with the Harry Potter characters or stories to participate.
We intend to offer hands-on, active training for our children and youth where the children come and learn valuable life lessons of peace, courage and tolerance through the magic of the Harry Potter world. Please sign up to help by contacting Kathleen: dre@uuyo.org
We also ask each family that is willing and able to contribute $20 for special materials. Cash should be in an envelope with your family name written on it. Checks should be made out to UUYO with Hogwarts Academy on the memo line. Either can be placed in my mailbox in the church office. All children are welcomed regardless of ability to donate.
Here is a link to the brochure that will have all the info you need about the class.
