Accompaniment Wednesday, Nov. 6th 6pm-7:30pm (SL)

This month’s worship theme is “Attention.” Related to “Attention” is the term accompaniment, which was introduced by Bishop Oscar Romero. Oscar Romero spoke out against poverty, social injustice, and violence during war in El Salvador until his assassination in 1980. His approach of accompaniment has inspired activists from around the globe to re-imagine what social justice feels and looks like. Rev. Joseph will facilitate this conversation as we seek to learn how Romero’s approach may inform our lives.
