Rev. Joseph writes on September’s Theme:  Building Belonging
September’s Theme: Building Belonging “For whatever we lose (like a you or a me), It’s always our self we find in the sea.” – E. E. Cummings It’s fitting that we’re going to celebrate Water Communion on Sep. 7th, as we bless the sanctuary once more with our presence. The transformation offered in the ritual of Water Communion to my mind is different from some other rituals. In this kind of Communion, we come together not because we’ve somehow managed to become unified through some other power, but because we realize we were never separate to begin with.  Read more here
