Coming home can take a lifetime, and it can happen in an instant.
This homecoming Sunday, we will celebrate our annual water communion as we return to the sanctuary. Please bring a small amount of water from a place that has made you feel grateful this summer. It could be water from a place you visited or water from your own tap.
Robert Frost, in this most famous poem, extols the virtue of traveling the path less traveled. The less traveled path points toward a homecoming meant for each one of us.
Come Sunday, as we find encouragement to take this path.
