Ohio CAN (Change Addiction Now) Mahoning County Peer to Peer Support Group meets in the Schweitzer Lounge at UUYO every Sunday at 6pm. CAN supports educating families and others that addiction is a disease. CAN also advocates for societal changes that will provide compassionate and evidence-based support to those recovering from addiction. The meetings at UUYO are open to everyone interested in addressing addiction concerns, not just those directly impacted. The meetings will provide opportunities for participants to give and/or receive peer-based support. They will also provide opportunities for community organizing for education and change.
