UUYO’s Book and Collectable Sale is set for Saturday, October 22, 8 am to 3 pm at the Church. The sale will include hardcover and paperback books, CD’s, DVD’s, audio books, collectables, art, jewelry, and antiques.  Snacks and baked goods will be available for purchase, along with Equal Exchange coffee items.  Sales will be on a cash and carry basis.

A special Private Preview Sale will be held on Friday evening, October 21, for members and friends of the Church only, from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Donations for the sale are needed. We will accept hardcover and paperback books, collectable magazines, CD’s, audio books, and DVD’s  (no VHS tapes, no cassette tapes, no encyclopedias).  “Collectable” items include items of value that people collect, art, jewelry, and antiques.  Donated collectable items should be of a size that could fit on a table top.  This is not a rummage sale so please, no clothing, shoes, hats, coats, baskets, appliances, TV’s, computers, or furniture.  Donated items must be in working order and not be damaged.

Items can be delivered to the Church after the service on Sunday October 16, and on Wednesday evening, October 19 from 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday evening, October 20 from 6 pm to 8 pm, and on Friday afternoon, October 21 from 1 pm to 5 pm.  For individuals who are absolutely unable to deliver larger quantities of items to the Church, we may be able to arrange for a truck to visit your home on a specific date and time for pick up.
